State-of-the-art senior home in Ivančice handed over to future operator

The most modern senior home in the Czech Republic has been built in Ivančice near Brno, thanks to an investment by a Crowdberry fund and Slovak entrepreneur Jozef Gima. In July 2022, a symbolic handover of the keys from the developer of the building, Přemysl Veselý, to the new operator, Petr Váka, occurred. Take a look at the photos and see what representatives of the municipality and the operator have had to say about this new state-of-the-art building for the elderly.
The Dobré časy Senior Home is a new place offering a high quality of life for senior citizens with the highest degree of dependence, i.e. those who are fully dependent on the help of another person. "In addition to the standard care, its clients will have access to extra services like hydro-massages, light therapy, workshops or hairdressing services," says Petr Váka, director of Dobré časy. Of course, there is also a medical clinic in the building. A café will also open for the public and clients on the ground floor of the building.
Private investment helps where government cannot
The project would not have been possible without private investment. The CB Property Investors fund of qualified investors and Slovak entrepreneur Jozef Gima took part in the development of the facility, which will offer 167 beds. Peter Bečár, chairman of the fund's supervisory board, describes why Crowdberry decided to invest in the construction of a state-of-the-art senior home: "We are aware that the senior housing segment is growing as well as the importance of private investors who help at least partially cover the shortage of these services. Thanks to the Dobré časy project, we are part of the solution to the problem and we would certainly like to implement more facilities like this."
The new facility is unique for its above-standard client services and the construction itself. In addition to air conditioning and cooling in the rooms, it also allows for recuperation and the use of so-called grey water. This illustrates why its inclusion in the CBPI portfolio makes sense:
- development of new places to spend old age in comfort, which are in short supply,
- ecological aspect of the construction and use of the building,
- return on investment.
The modern facility for the elderly near Brno will welcome its first clients in September this year and the investors of the CB Property Investors fund will be a part of it.
