CB Property Investors is part of Crowdberry, the first Czech-Slovak investment marketplace. About us

Omar Sattar

Managing Director

Over 26 years of real estate experience, a RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with a BSc (Hons) degree in Land Economics from the West of Scotland University.

Worked across the CEE region and an experienced real estate and private equity expert.  Held the role of CEE Director of the leading European real estate investment and asset management company – Avestus Capital Partners and has been involved in investment transactions of over €2 billion in value. 

Currently a non-executive Director of CPI PG, CEE’s largest property company with assets of over €11 billion in value.

His real estate experience also includes other senior positions such as the Managing Director of Colliers International and DTZ in the Czech Republic and Director of Asset Management at Orco Property Group.

Peter Bečár

Partner

Over 20 years of experience in real estate and IT. Head of CEE at P3 Logistics Parks, a leading European Industrial Developer & Investor.

 

Responsible for growing P3's CEE industrial portfolio to 1.8 million m2 and helping to increase P3’s asset value over 10 years from $250 million to $2.5 billion.

Appointed as a Senior Advisor to leading global private investment firm TPG Real Estate. Founded his own IT companies and is a mentor at StartupYard, a seed accelerator for technology startups in CEE.

Martin Pleva

Investment Manager

18 years of experience in the financial sector with a focus on real estate financing. Leader of the UniCredit Leasing real estate division in Slovakia, the market leader in its field.

At Erste Group was Head of Sales, responsible for financing activities of Erste Group Immorent Slovakia. Member of Risk Management Team at Erste Group – dedicated to CEE real estate financing and based in Vienna.

In 2013, established his own consultancy company dedicated to real estate and SME financing.

Experienced in debt sourcing and finance.

Samuel Frankl

Investment Manager

Over six years of experience ranging from real estate investments, corporate valuations and management consulting. Consultant at Innogy Consulting, focusing on transformation and strategy projects.

Co-founder of online investment platform focusing on real estate debt finance.

Valuation & Business modelling consultant at EY.

Holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Daniel Gašpar

Partner

Responsible for CB’s management, strategy and business development. He also focuses on growth capital investments for SMEs.

15 years of experience in industry, acquisition consulting and investment banking.

Worked at NIBC Bank in Germany, in Corporate Finance at Kaufman Bros LLP in New York, as well as at Daimler AG and BASF AG in Stuttgart and Ludwigshafen, respectively.

Karolína Klapalová

Karolína is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. In 2011 she began working as a project manager for the real estate developer Chenen, where she gained extensive experience in development projects, property management and the operation and management of real estate funds of qualified investors. She joined the Winstor team in December 2019 as a portfolio manager responsible for managing real estate funds. Since May 2020 she has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Winstor investiční společnost a.s. responsible for the management of the real estate funds.

Investment in CB Property Investors Sub-fund is open to private individuals and institutions who comply with the requirements of Section 272 of Act No. 240/2013 Coll., on Investment Companies and Investment Funds. Minimum investment is CZK 1 million equivalent, should conditions stipulated by Czech law be met.
